Oregon’s Building Performance Standard is creating new considerations for commercial property owners and managers. Understanding the requirements is an important first step, but the bigger question is, how do you turn compliance into a practical plan for your building?
Experts from Oregon Department of Energy, Energy Trust of Oregon and NEEA’s BetterBricks initiative will break down Oregon’s Building Performance Standard, introduce programs and resources available to support building owners and managers, and share resources to help evaluate building needs and identify next steps.
The session will also explore how building performance requirements can fit into broader plans for building operations, maintenance, and capital improvements. Rather than approaching compliance in isolation, upcoming requirements can be considered alongside existing priorities and make informed decisions about when and where to invest.
Bring your questions and real-world challenges and leave with a clearer understanding of what’s required, where to find support, and how to start building a practical path forward.
